This is our 5th Feast, and our second in partnership with the wonderful Cegin y Bobl. This meal brings people together around the table to celebrate nourishment, solidarity, and the power of community, and will be prepared by Cegin y Bob alongside local volunteers.

This Feast will bring amazing change makers from across Southwest Wales together to ask the question: What small action led to a big change in your work?  We’ll be joined by Dr Ben Reynolds of Urban Foundry and other inspiring speakers from south West Wales – full list to follow!

Book onto our next Compostio session to continue our composting work.  

Everyone is welcome, even if this is your first session.

But why are we talking compost? Well, it's connected to this idea that we are cultivating change, harvesting our results, and composting our learning. Using the analogy of the garden to describe a complex series of collaborations and ideas. Our previous sessions focused us into practical actions as we mapped and logged all aspects of existing, new and potential ways of working and what the aims of each zone will be.

Our next session is focused on looking at the economy and resources in Carmarthen as well as a wider look on decision making processes.

We don’t want anybody to be left out, so there is a bursery available to you if needed.

We will then be coming together on the evening of the 26th to reflect on this work by sharing a meal at Cegin Hedyn, Lamas Street, cooked by their lovely team.

Two artists set out to kickstart a people powered energy revolution.

Directed by the duo Hilary Powell and Dan Edelstyn, POWER STATION charts their turbulent journey, from pitching the idea to their neighbours and raising finance by sleeping on the roof and launching a bid for a Christmas number one. Powell and Edelstyn’s film is a vibrant portrait of a neighbourhood and testament to the art of the possible.

Join our working groups and wider collaborative network for the seeding of the new year. What projects will we take forward? What have we learnt in 2024/5 that we will take with us? We love to use the garden as an analogy for our work and we know that our compost will only be as good as what we put into it.

So if you're part of a project or if you're new to this work or if you are leading change locally and how to collaborate or bring a new lens to things then please join us. We have 50 spaces available and we’ll be exploring system change, deep democracy and constellations to map the work ahead.
