POWER STATION screening
Two artists set out to kickstart a people powered energy revolution.
Directed by the duo Hilary Powell and Dan Edelstyn, POWER STATION charts their turbulent journey, from pitching the idea to their neighbours and raising finance by sleeping on the roof and launching a bid for a Christmas number one. Powell and Edelstyn’s film is a vibrant portrait of a neighbourhood and testament to the art of the possible.

Compostio
Join our working groups and wider collaborative network for the seeding of the new year. What projects will we take forward? What have we learnt in 2024/5 that we will take with us? We love to use the garden as an analogy for our work and we know that our compost will only be as good as what we put into it.
So if you're part of a project or if you're new to this work or if you are leading change locally and how to collaborate or bring a new lens to things then please join us. We have 50 spaces available and we’ll be exploring system change, deep democracy and constellations to map the work ahead. If you’re interested, please email Carmarthen@localmotion.org.uk and let us know. Bursaries to enable you to be there are available and we provide a great lunch.

We'll be sharing documentation, manifestos, banners and projects that are experimental, which value process, relationship building and prototyping. In this work we’ve negotiated conflict and expectations, laughed together and feasted together. This work centres social, climate, racial and economic justice to create a better future for Carmarthen.
