On a cold night last November (2025), we put on the first Stor-io, something that I hope to be a yearly thing. This exhibition was about gathering the community and showing them all of the projects that we here at LocalMotion have put on over the past year, and over a 5-day period, the people of Carmarthen got to come and see the great strides we have achieved.

The majority of the projects on display are headed by our Local Assembly and members of our Partnership and Power network, a lot of whom are members of other community organisations around the. These projects cover a diverse selection of themes and topics, such as our Green Archipelago project, which supports a number of community gardens around Carmarthen, or FEAST project, a free community event designed around bringing the community together around good food and a shared love of Carmarthen.

All in all, Stor-io was an amazing opportunity to show both the community and those already partnered with LocalMotion just what exactly we are doing, and why, and the response to the result was exceptional. I'm excited to see the follow up.
